Haven't been here in years, it was everything I remember. Prices were not bad, considering it is a festival and inflation everywhere. Plenty of awesome vendors and definitely a large variety of activities and rides for the kiddos.
Lots of vendors - easy to buy T-shirts, candles, wood signs, knit hats, pet outfits/accessories, homemade sweets, BBQ sauces, honeys and more!
Weidner's chicken, corn and clams are classics. Funnel cakes and deep fried oreas from fair vendors. Corn cups are a great memento. Corn ice cream from Main Street Ice cream never disappoints- not to sweet with a nice corn flavor. Tried the Pico de gallo and chips version this year - interesting twist!
Enjoyed the 80s cover band out of Rochester- M80s as well on Saturday night!
Happy to have this event here in Eden!
Not sure what I was expecting at the corn fest aside from corn. More like a fair than a festival as it was mostly rides and fair food. Kind of disappointed that there were not more local vendors but would be a great time if you have kids or like the fair.
What can I say....Great corn on the cob at the peak of the season....curly Q fries , and a host of other festival fare. Great music by "Iron Eyes Experience" in the beer tent. (On a sad note...The old wooden structure where we always went was no longer there! It had been replaced by a modern steel structure.😳I guess I'm just a bit too nostalgic!)
Always volunteer for Post 880 , who hosts the fest, because that way I see many people I know & it is always a fun time!
Parking was anywhere from $5 - $8. Parked in street about 1/4 mile from entry. Many Vendors, many food areas. We got CORN @ $3 apiece water & Pop were $3.
As others have mentioned the prices were high for everything. There were a lot of vendors which was nice. One that was a little strange was I was expecting more corn related items or just more corn in general given it’s called the corn fest.
High priced parking. High priced food vendors. High priced beer. All rock bands that were not near as good as some of the country bands they used to have. No just corn eating stands. Not impressed this year as other years. May not go anymore.
This was a bigger event than I thought. This was my first time going to it, there were a ton of vendors with great items for sale. The corn was delicious.
Corn was great
Lots of vendors, very interesting stuff
